Wasaga Nordic is truly epic. I also note that this is snow conditions dependent. While the current 2025 season is starting out well, there are other years when there is better snow higher up at Scenic Caves or Highlands Nordic. However, as some other reviewers have said, the combination of Monument Hill and High Dunes intermediate/advanced trails has to be among the most scenic, beautiful and exciting in southern Ontario. And fees remain quite reasonable. Head out here and support one of the finest Ontario Parks’ cross country experiences. Oh, and there are occasional night skiing sessions, which are a lot of fun and during the season the fire pit at the start and in the centre of the loops is always a great place for a little stop.
