The best engineered trails in Greater Sudbury. About a million dollars went into their construction and it shows. Having said that the lower trails are too exposed to the wind and sun for my liking. Further upslope there is better cover mostly Red Pine. This is a multipurpose park and lacks a chalet. It does not feel like a ski club. A year or so ago Kivi began charging for day use and a membership is available. Both are competitive with the surrounding ski clubs. A victim of its own success, the demand for trail use means over grooming and overuse. Trails become hard packed quickly as a result. That said well engineered sky trails are a big plus.
